However, once they heard the reason for the rename, the meltdown was averted. It all stems from Ben & Jerry's commitment to using Fairtrade certified and non-GMO sourced ingredients. The ice cream recipe was tweaked with equally delicious, responsibly sourced fudge-covered toffee candy bars in place of the original. Everything else about Coffee Toffee Bar Crunch is just as delicious and equally positive. Like every Ben & Jerry's ice cream and frozen dessert, all the ingredients are non-GMO sourced, and the coffee, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla are Fairtrade certified. Cage-free hens provide the eggs and the ice cream pint is wrapped up in responsibly sourced packaging. Ben & Jerry's Coffee Ice Cream pint with Fudge-Covered Toffee Pieces is made with non-GMO ingredients, cage-free eggs, and Fairtrade certified bananas, coffee, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla. It is also Certified Kosher, and uses responsibly sourced packaging. We gave this ice cream flavor a new name to go with the new toffee bars we’re using as part of our commitment to Fairtrade & non-GMO ingredients. We love it and you will too!
